Different jobs

Which job you need doing.

Most agencies that sell leads need both jobs done. Here's where each one belongs.

Pick HubSpot when

You need a CRM, email marketing and a sales team workspace.

HubSpot is a full CRM with marketing, sales and service tools, and one of the largest app marketplaces around. If you want to run email campaigns, build forms and landing pages, and hand leads to your own sales reps, HubSpot does that and Hawfinch does not.

On Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional and above, workflows can rotate leads between your own users, including round robin. There's a free CRM to start with, and apps on iOS and Android.

Using them together

Running HubSpot alongside Hawfinch.

HubSpot as a destination

Deliver a copy of a lead into HubSpot.

Hawfinch can deliver to any HTTP endpoint, with field mapping, static fields, body templates and custom headers. That means a HubSpot API endpoint, such as its forms submission API, can be set up as a destination like any other buyer.

This is a generic HTTP delivery that you configure. Hawfinch does not have a native HubSpot integration.

Splitting the work

Use HubSpot for your own team and Hawfinch for the leads you sell.

A common split is to keep HubSpot for your own marketing and client relationships, and use Hawfinch for the leads you sell: intake from suppliers, checks, routing to buyers, caps and revenue reporting.

You can add a destination in one delivery group alongside your paying buyers, so a lead can reach a buyer and your CRM.

Hawfinch vs HubSpot FAQ

Is Hawfinch a HubSpot alternative?

Only for one job. HubSpot is a CRM and marketing platform; Hawfinch is lead distribution software for selling leads to third-party buyers. If you need ping post, buyer caps and revenue per buyer, Hawfinch does that. If you need a CRM or email marketing, HubSpot does that and Hawfinch does not.

Can HubSpot do ping post or sell leads to buyers?

We found no ping post, buyer caps or lead pricing features in HubSpot's public documentation. HubSpot's lead rotation assigns leads to your own users, and requires Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional or above.

Can Hawfinch send leads into HubSpot?

Yes, as a generic HTTP destination. Hawfinch delivers to any HTTP endpoint with field mapping and custom headers, so a HubSpot API endpoint can be set up as a destination. There is no native HubSpot integration.

How does pricing compare?

HubSpot has a free CRM and paid plans priced per seat in USD; its Sales Hub Professional starts at $90 a month per seat with a one-off onboarding fee. Hawfinch is priced by lead volume, from £249 a month with 10,000 leads and every feature included.
